Canadian Voice Movement – Economic Policy

Putting Canadians First

1. Our Economic Belief (The Foundation)

Canada is a rich country with land, resources, skilled people, and technology.
Canadians should not be struggling to survive in a country this wealthy.

The problem is not lack of money —
The problem is bad priorities, waste, and lack of accountability.

The Canadian Voice Movement believes:

Government must serve Canadians first

Taxpayer money must stay in Canada

The economy must work for working people, not just corporations or political interests

2. Our Main Economic Goals

Our economic policy has five simple goals:

  Lower the cost of living

Protect Canadian jobs and wages

Keep taxpayer money inside Canada

Stop waste, corruption, and endless debt

Build long-term national wealth

3. Government Spending: Fix the Leaks First

Before raising taxes or cutting services, the government must:

Audit all federal spending

End unnecessary foreign spending that does not directly help Canadians

Stop funding programs that show no results

CVM position:

Every dollar spent must clearly benefit Canadians — or it doesn’t get spent.

4. Tax Policy: Fair, Simple, and Honest

We believe:

Working Canadians are over-taxed

Small businesses are over-burdened

Large corporations use loopholes to avoid paying their fair share

CVM will:

Simplify the tax system so people understand where their money goes

Reduce taxes on low- and middle-income Canadians

Support small and local businesses with fair tax rules

Close loopholes used by large corporations and political insiders

5. Jobs and Wages: Canadians First

A strong economy starts with good jobs.

CVM will:

Prioritize Canadian workers in all government contracts

Invest in trades, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, and technology

Support training and apprenticeships instead of relying on endless temporary foreign labor

Protect wages from being pushed down by unfair labor practices

6. Housing and Cost of Living

Housing is not a luxury — it is a basic need.

CVM will:

Treat housing as infrastructure, not a speculative asset

Push provinces and municipalities to speed up home construction

Stop policies that drive prices higher without increasing supply

Ensure Canadians are not priced out of their own communities

7. Debt and Deficits: Accountability Required

Canada cannot borrow forever.

CVM believes:

Deficits should be used only in true emergencies

Government must explain how debt will be repaid

Future generations should not pay for today’s political decisions

Simple rule:

If the government borrows money, Canadians deserve a clear reason and a clear plan.

8. Canadian Resources for Canadian Benefit

Canada has energy, minerals, water, farmland, and talent.

CVM will:

Support responsible development of Canadian resources

Keep ownership and profits in Canada

Use resource wealth to fund healthcare, infrastructure, and education

Balance environmental protection with economic reality

9. Transparency: Where Your Money Goes

Canadians deserve to know:

Who gets government money

Why they get it

What results they produce

CVM will require:

Public, easy-to-read spending reports

Independent audits

Consequences for misuse of taxpayer funds

10. The CVM Economic Promise

The Canadian Voice Movement promises an economy that:

Works for people, not political elites

Rewards work, not connections

Builds national strength, not dependency

Puts Canada first — always

CVM Economic Policy in One Sentence:

Spend responsibly, tax fairly, protect Canadian jobs, and keep Canadian money working for Canadians.
